The 300 Digital Temperature Probe features a 1.5 mm thin tip for fast response. With large digits, the 300 is an easy-to-read and easy-to-use thermometer for quick checks when preparing a variety of foods.
The 300 has a hold button that allows you to keep the digital reading on the screen while you note a measurement.

The 300 Digital Temperature Probe is a basic reduced (thin) tip thermometer with BioCote Antimicrobial Protection. The 300 is slim and light, making it perfect for slipping into shirt, trouser, or apron pockets between uses. It has a 127mm / 5″ long stem and a 1.5 mm / 0.6″ diameter from the tip, making it suitable for probing thinner foods. The 300 Digital Temperature Probe is field calibratable and has switchable °F/°C temperature scales/ranges, a data hold function, and a low battery indicator. You can either use ON/OFF to save battery life or let the unit switch off automatically after a short period. This digital pocket thermometer includes a protective pouch with a pocket clip and a battery.

Field Calibration Procedures
The 300 is only calibratable in an ice slurry (60 percent crushed ice to 40 percent tap water) or a water bath. Do not attempt to calibrate in any other way.
Immerse the thermometer stem to at least half of its length in the ice slurry.
Wait until the reading stabilizes (typically within ±2° of 32 °F or ±1° of 0 °C).
Press and hold the CAL button for 8 seconds to start calibration.
CAL is displayed for two seconds, and calibration at 0 °C / 32 °F is complete.
Remove the thermometer from the ice water and continue measuring.
Note: CAL is displayed whenever D-H is pressed for 8 seconds, but the thermometer will not calibrate unless the tip is inserted into ice water.
°F/°C Switchable
The 300 Digital Temperature Probe has temperature scales/ranges that can be switched to °F/°C. With the thermometer turned OFF, press and hold ON/OFF. Release when the desired scale is displayed.
Note:This is the procedure for all digital pocket thermometers that do not have a °F/°C scale button.
